Nicosia Medical Center is delighted to announce the addition of Dr Marios Hadjipavlou to its medical team as an Urological Surgeon – Andrologist. Dr. Hadjipavlou, with a distinguished background at Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust and King’s College London School of Medicine, brings invaluable expertise in urology to the center.
A King’s College London alumnus, Dr Hadjipavlou completed his advanced training in renowned London hospitals. He specialises in benign prostate hyperplasia (BPH), particularly in Holmium Laser Enucleation of the Prostate (HoLEP) for enlarged prostates, and offers innovative minimally invasive treatments. His expertise encompasses precision diagnostics in prostate cancer, endourology, and stone disease management.
An acclaimed educator, Dr Hadjipavlou has led urology trainees at Guy’s Hospital and has a rich academic portfolio with over 30 publications and numerous national and international presentations. He is actively involved in clinical research and trials on benign prostate disease, HoLEP and prostate cancer and his work has been recognised with multiple awards from prestigious organisations like the European Association of Urology and the British Association of Urological Surgeons.
